Introduction to the company

Food-Assess cc is a SBE which offers specialized, credible and professional services relating to food safety assessment. Our auditors comply with the SAATCA Food Safety Management System criteria based on ISO 19011 and the company is in the process of implementing ISO 17021 for eventual SANAS accreditation status.

When it comes to service, professionalism and credibility; our daily mission is to surpass the grade and to add value to the businesses we assess, with the end goal being consumer protection.

All auditors have a min of 10yrs experience in the food industry in conjunction with the relevant qualifications and training required.

The auditors are sector specific and audits are assigned according to the auditor’s sector expertise and knowledge.

Training and auditor assessment

Auditor competence, knowledge and skill are constantly being developed through formal training programs and Technical Working Groups.

Auditors are assessed by the auditee on each audit. Feedback is formalized directly to the Managing Member, trended and corrective actions taken where necessary.

Auditors are required to sign a SAFSIS™ Auditor Code of Conduct as well as a Contractual Agreement.
